The Picks:Alex Hoffman's Pick: It seems to be a slow week for releases, but there are a few gems among the other choices. Vertical makes a fine showing with
Peepo Choo, Vol. 1, which is the breakout Japanese work from Felipe Smith, an American transplant writing for Kodansha's
Morning 2 anthology. I can't wait for this title to hit shelves.
Justin Colussy-Estes' Pick: Got my
Peepo Choo last night, and (after failing to explain to my bookstore co-workers that the woman with enormous boobages on the cover is intended as biting satire of manga with enormous boobages and the readers who lust after them) came to two conclusions: 1) This is awesome and I can't wait to really dig into it, and 2) YMMV.
Amy Grocki's Pick: My pick for this week is
When The Heavens Smile. I've never read anything by Aki Senoo so I'm curious to check out this week. Not much else new coming out this week that I want to grab so my wallet is pretty thrilled (for the time being.)

There's Something About Sunyool. The premise sounds so-so (rags-to-riches, looking for romance), but it was Lee's characters that made
