Akira Kizuki and his overseers and friends are in the middle of a battle pitting shiki tsukai against shiki tsukai. Akira, seemingly, has chosen his side to fight for the humans.

Early on, Akira comes face to face with his inner shiki tsukai and learns that he has his to awaken the shinra inside him in order to win the war.

Meanwhile, Satsuki and her father are in for a fight that against one of the summer shiki tsukai.

After the summer shiki tsukai come to a stalemate with Akira and his group, they leave. Akira, whose body has taken some a serious beating during this turmoil, must rest now for awhile.

Later, Akira and Koyomi look after each other while they enjoy a break from the pressure of fighitng shiki tsukais.

But little does Akira know that the summer shiki tsukai have a pretty big surprise for him right up their sleeves. And even as Akira and his friends celebrate their company together, plans unfold that could quickly change all that.
