Princess Resurrection 5 (Yasunori Mitsunaga)

Del Rey Manga

Princess Resurrection

Genre: Fantasy

Rating: Older Teen (16+)

Price: $10.99

If manga could use more of anything, that would be zombies. And zombies make quite an appearance in this volume.

A visitor makes an appearance before Hime to let her know of plans being unfolded by someone of interest. When they hear the news, Hime and her friends can't help but question the source. But the news turns out to be intriguing.

At an isolated small mountain town, three of Hime's friends go to investigate the town. After wandering around for a bit, they find a blood warrior, which means they could be on the right trail after all.

But when the blood warrior offers up far greater resistance than the trio expected, they realize something is amiss. Their source is yet again the provider of information.

While the three of them are away, Hime realizes the town is full of zombies and treads into the town after the three of them return. There they help a few humans who have tried to hole up in a supermarket. However, a couple of attacks lead to some devastation and Hime and her group needs to flee.

After the mess that was the zombie town, Hime and her group find themselves back at home when guards arrive to the princess. The kingdom believes that the princess was the one responsible for unleashing the horde of zombies on the human town.

During her trial, Hime offers a suggestion on a way to end the apparent stalemate. When they accept that, Hime and her friends find themselves in an uneasy position -- Hime could die.

The action that follows could change the fate of Hime's group forever.
