Gun Blaze West Volume 3 (Nobuhiro Watsuki)

Viz Media

Gun Blaze West Volume

Genre: Action, Adventure, Western

Rating: Older Teen

Price: $7.99

Viu Bannes is determined. He's going to get stronger and make his way to Gun Blaze West, the fabled tale of a city that is the Western equivalent of the promised land.

Along with Colice Satoh and Will Johnston, Viu makes his way to Fort Smith in Arkansas. However, when they get to the town, they have quite the welcome awaiting them.

And who would have thought the action would start to heat up over a simple glass of milk?

But it appears the path to finding Gun Blaze West is a crowded one; there are many men who are waiting to bid their time to find out more about learning to follow the path to the promised land.

With the added crowd, tempers flare, and Viu and the others might be facing their toughest battle before the road to Gun Blaze West even opens up.

When the path to the fabled city is hinted to, Viu's friends get to the point and start to find their way. Viu, however, takes a different road. He decides to challenge himself and see if he really has gotten strong enough to complete the path to Gun Blaze West.

And his decision is one that amazes his friends and others who are on the path. As they watch, Viu gets into a battle that might just be his last.

Regardless of what happens, Viu remains ever hopeful that that special someone will find a way to Gun Blaze West, hopefully to meet Viu there.

The third volume is also the last of the series, and ends on an optimistic note. Viu and his friends must deal with the fallout from his battle, and the road to Gun Blaze West remains for those who can get stronger to walk along.

Summing Up:

The ending of the series brings about a clearer look at the path to Gun Blaze West. Can Viu and friends complete it and find the promised land?
